Trinity Lutheran Seminary
Preparing and equipping church workers to minister and serve in Ethiopia and South Sudan, and around the world.
Trinity Lutheran Seminary (TLS) is the theological school of the Lutheran Church of South Sudan (LCSS). It was established in the Fall of 2014 in Gambella, Ethiopia, near the South Sudanese refugee camps. The seminary prepares and equips pastors, theological teachers, deaconesses, evangelists and other church workers to serve and mentor in Ethiopia and South Sudan, and around the world.
The seminary also teaches students in Kenya and in Omaha, Nebraska, through online and satellite classes. These programs equip immigrant and refugee pastors from South Sudan to faithfully minister to immigrant congregations in North America and refugee camps.
Leadership is provided by Co-Deans Rev. Doug Morton and Rev. Simon Thai Puk. The Seminary & College also has visiting faculty from the United States and Canada.
